My cab is galvanized with zink.

Not shure about doors although they haven't any rust in a down area.

Double walling is a surprizing thing to me, I red about it in production sheets but haven't seen a cab with inside linings removed.

Here are a few pics of the inside of my RS700 interior. This is the tan interior update kit as one might call it. It kind of made it more modern. This was installed in my truck in 1989 and I just put it in my new cab after I repainted it. More to follow!

Now here are pics of the original head liner out my new cab that I was talking about. Also here are pics of the original syle tan 2 piece door panels compared to the newer replacements that Mack offered.

The '81 in my avatar had it's cab replaced in the mid-90's. The metal parts were grey metallic and the interior was completely covered in black vinyl, identical to the tan upgrade package posted by Yoos Bros.

Jim

The first to use the gray dash and shell in a conventional cab ...that i remember seeing in person was late 1984,, and was the promotional 1985 superliner II which was the Magnum, And all the Macks with a built date in 1986

(not titled) that went threw the dealer I was at was gray

The Mh had gray from the start and wasn't a bad color combo with the level 3 blue and level 4 red

Thanks for hearing me out.
