Just swapped about half a day's worth of track loader work for a '74 FS model daycab tractor. It's got a hole in the side of the block as big as my head but 237's are still a dime a dozen around here. It's hooked up to a straight 5 speed, but my question is if these trucks were ever factory equipped with a duplex, triplex, quadbox, or a 2 stick six speed? It looks like there's a cutout in the shift tower column that would house another shift lever in front of the existing 5 speed lever. She's my first cabover, so I'm not that familiar with them. I just thought a two stick f model would be pretty freakin' awesome. Is it a possibility?
