My truck is down for a few more days (clutch, tranny rebuild, and radiator rebuild) and I decided to undergo a project. I hate the bulky mack shifter and the up/down split instead of the normal forward/back shift of the eaton. I bought a new eaton fuller A-6918 shifter friday, and the only differences I've found is the mack uses a 7/16 thread at the top of the stick where the eaton uses a 1/2 thread. Each uses four air ports, however a couple are labled differently. Has anyone done this swap before?

Never herd anyone do this, My mack has the 13 speed which has a red spliter button insted of a grey one but the top part of my shifter knob is gone and it feel much like the ef shifter, other than the up and down position which to me i don't get lost as much with it because the last truck i drove had a 18 speed eaton that the spliter lines were crossed and it worked backward. Sometimes if i get in a 18 or 13 if i don't pay attention i really mess up, drove that 18 speed with the backward spliter for 3 years
