One looks like shes a RL700

That was the first truck I ever drove solo in the seat. 15 years old running down I-55 with the driver sitting shot gun and showing me the ropes.... .. Think it's a RS700L had a 285 with a 6 speed...think it also had the hood scoop on it?

It probably would have been yours too if it didn't catch on fire... Here it is again on snow removal with the "famous for his antics" Mike Tanzillo

Haven't been on my account in years and just sat here and read all these Chicagoland r models posts. Lot of northern illinois history of Mack's here. Some guys had been asking the story on some of Mark Meade EXcavatings trucks...... They are all alive and export free sitting in our sheds. My RS700 hasn't had plates in 4 yrs....... I doubt we will ever part with our R models. Although we did sell our lowboy CL to Chicagoland paving.
