MP8 445

M drive

3.58 gears Eaton rears

205 WB

Rides really nice and is super quiet.

Still deciding if I like the M drive

I really wanted the Allison but they are really hard to find. Esp the HD ones so you can put a PTO on.

My other truck was dying and really needed to upgrade quick so I got this one.

Don't get me wrong, it does haul butt, but not nearly as smooth as the Allison.

And you notice it more pulling the tank.

Def gonna have to use manual mode when off road.

And I really wanted the 505 but from what I have been reading the performance isn't much different then the 445 and the 445 get much better fuel mileage.

I can say this, I will define get the Allison in my next truck.

But it is really nice not having to shift all day long in that great traffic on 47 in Yorkville

Nice pic .I got to run the road today.took my tag trailer to rockdale to a job .ran our crew 2 loads of3/4 from lafarge in rockdale. Then up to Wheaton and got a 310 loader backhoe and took it to joliet .then up to rt31 in mchenry to pick up our tl150 track skid and mower deck and ran it to our shop in Plainfield 256 miles it was nice

Mackey,

Hanson (old M-S) is just one of the pits in that area. The rest in that stretch, belong to MEYER. That's where I work. (debatable by some....LOL) Al

IF YOU BOUGHT IT, A TRUCK BROUGHT IT..AND WHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH IT, A TRUCK WILL HAUL IT AWAY!!! Big John Trimble,WRVA

Thanks for the heads up on the DOT today macky58 lol

I was on the phone and didn't know who was talking to me.

And of course I ran the light coming off Brandon just before that lol

And I believe that was Storkmack driving the sweet R model in Elburn today.

Also saw The new Stark CHU pulling bulk tank on 80 and two Stark Granites on a side road off 80 pulling flatbeds

Was down around O'hare most of the day today and spotted a few Mack's. I was rounding the corner at Lawrence and River Rd

and spotted a big Superliner with his trailer stacked up, just barley got a picture of it. Not a Chicago truck though, looked like it

had Michigan plates on it. Also saw a Rossi RD backed up to the Gradall inside the airport property, then I saw two Greco R

models.

Love those trucks, but obviously a little partial to the Rossi truck, lol

Yeah that was me going thru Elburn. No ready mix out of our plant today, so I got to get out and see some country.

2 day cabs (one has dual straight stacks), and the one sleeper

Is that a stock sleeper?

And to give you a heads up.

My buddy Snake that parks buy us and has that red and white '80 R model with the big stacks, might be selling it in the spring.
