I see that superliner a lot running to their yard on melms road what ever happened to the burgundy superliner that sat in the field just north of 88 on route 47. I believe there was a father son team that hauled gravel and grain the father had a green superliner and the son had that burgundy one sitting in the field .

We all had a chat about that truck a couple months ago. The fate of that truck didn't end well. Here's the link. Read pages 83,84.

I rember those posts, but I guess I didn't put two and two together to think it was that truck.

I was wondering this fall when I drove by there what happened to that truck.

My one friend use to haul with those two Superdogs back in the day. Not many big horse motors running around back the and he said those two were tuned up a little. He said they would just fly around everyone and if someone would try and pass them they would ask, is that all you got and then drop the hammer. Lol

found this superliner in Bolingbrook today. Pretty sure its from Ruffalo sewer and water that sold out a couple years ago. If it is, the truck didn't move too far away, although it looks like they drove it here from the auction and it hasn't moved since. I think it sold for around $9k at the auction (could be wrong on that)

It was on craiglist for sale about a year ago. I think it is an E-9 and a 12 speed. They weren't looking for crazy money out of it, but more then I wanted to spend.

Agreed, a lot of money for an older truck. The pictures I saw made it look pretty good. Is it for sale again?

You guys were talking about RD's with sleepers......awhile back in Nebraska I saw a light blue RD with a bunk that looked to be about 60 to 70 inch mid roof with the rv a/c unit on the roof. It did look alright.

Now that would be interesting to see.
