I remember an oil tank driver coming to our plant in an R model. While off loading he would rub the hood down with WD 40 or armour all I can't remember for sure. It did a nice job. I think it probably attracted a lot off dust though.

They have painted all but one of our R models so far there is one other RD Ron uses it to haul pipe it was repainted a couple years ago its a pretty nice looking ride the one they are doing for me is one of our straight trucks used to haul septic tanks with no miles on it. It has a computer controlled engine which Im not happy about I would rather have the mechanical myself it will have a full chassis and cab paint job they are going to put a set of polished alcoas on it because Im one of the few that will take care of it.

My old employer had some pictures on FB that I borrowed. The Value Liner started out as a log truck and was converted to

a rolloff to move dumpsters around the yard. It got the life beat out of it and was retired last year. Now they have designated

the DM to be the new yard dog. The picture of the DM is from a few years ago, it doesn't look as good anymore. They were

using it off and on around the yard and the clowns there beat it up pretty bad.

A friend of mine spotted this yesterday in Lake Station IN. I'm guessing all these trucks are headed for a boat ride.

The only one I remember seeing around is the orange one. I think I have a picture of it from a year ago out running.

It stood out because it has square turn signals and somebody painted the horns orange.

here's a not so good pic of a superliner water truck at land & lakes, a L&S Cartage granite dumping washout from the mixer plant, and my freshly painted (by the kids in the driveway) mongoose. I guess I should wash my windows before taking pictures at the quarry!
