Well, I didn't get a Superliner...or even stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. But I did go to Lynchburg and got my physical renewed today, so i'm good for 2 more years. Figured i'd be in and out in no time on a Saturday 3 days before Christmas but the place was packed. Waited an hour and a half before I was called back.

The doctor said "great,a DOT! Everybody else here has the flu."

"wonderful" said I. "I'll be back tomorrow with the flu".

But the best part was that the doctor was a good looking redhead. I could not take a picture of the doc while I was getting a physical, I didn't even have my phone or camera- but she was real! Really, a fine looking redhead...she really was...never mind,nobody believes me.

Check this out- I stalked looked her up on facebook when I got home. This was obviously taken in a doctor's office. There was another one of her with a stethoscope around her neck, so she's a real doctor all right.

no, most doctors offices have microwave ovens, refrigerators, and a blender in them now.

My Doctor is not quite as attractive as yours, but he did check me for a hernia. I just wish he wouldn't kiss me afterwards.

Very nice! i "re-upped" middle of last year,my doctor. looks NOTHING like that! she looks a lot like me (if i had a handlebar moustache) gave my my latest in-frame (old man exam w/glove) talked to me the whole time,never been more embarassed in my life! cant think of much worse than a chatty woman with her finger in your exaust pipe! for what seemed like 10 minutes! oh the shame of it all!..................glad yours went better!...................Mark

Glad you passed yours. I'm in a world of shit. Passed everything but blood pressure. Of course I am 1400 miles from home and loaded. Was able to get it low enough for a 3 month card. no to decide where to get a Dr since I am hardly home. either in Il or Tx. Ain't it great doing this

Very nice! I'd be think'n my heart rate would be slightly "up" LOL!! My normal Dr. is pretty cool guy, he reminds me constantly that I'm in much better shape then most of his patients. I still have to walk him through a DOT physical. Seems I'm the only one he ever does?

I'm due for a new card this spring, not looking forward as usual. Will we have to worry about the wallet card anymore since it now has to be tied to your drivers license?

Where can I get an official blank wallet card? I'm out of them, and not sure my buddy has anymore either.

My doc just bitches about my general health period. If he sees anything out of line...he refers me to a specialist. I have been going to this practice (3 doctors) for over 20 years. When they get a good doc, they leave after a year or two and replace them with a newbie.

I got my DOT stuff off the internet. As for the medical card, the doc signed it and then I used a copier to reduce it to wallet size (then laminated it).
