thats a straight 5 with a 4 speed auxillary. a 5 and 4 quadbox would never stand that torque. those are the shiniest ''All Steel'' wheels i have ever seen on the front axle also haha

Two seperate gear boxes, right? Would it hold up? I'm thinking the aux would go in place of the swing bearing.

The biggest Spicer aux box I am aware of was rated at 1250 ftlbs of torque. Big sucker with twin counter shafts. You see them for sale occasionally on ebay. They seem to be mostly used by oil field trucks. Being from Houston I bet that was the case.

Look at that winch on picture number 12. Yes this was an oilfield truck and yes it's a 5-speed MaxiTorque with a Spicer 4-Speed auxilliary. The 4-speed is in there primarily for the "Power Tower", a top mounted PTO on the Spicer 4-spd behind the rear window that can run full horsepower. Specs I've seen, they are rated at input torque of 10,000 lb-ft, not very much when you look at peak engine torque times transmission ratio of the main box. But if you are careful with it you won't hurt it.
