felicello122 Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 It was for use with the tip turbine engines,before the went to a dual element air cleaner.Conventionals had the hood scoop for the extra intake,COE's had dual intake stacks.Thanks for the reply, always wondered about that scoop, I knew the tip turbine used the dual element, so the scoop was used on the early models?
