Likely a rear anti-splash. Use the old one for a pattern. I bought similar mudflaps that fit a newer Mack (similar dimenisons) that I am going to "make fit". I don't remember what model or part number.

I like the slick one because on a dump truck the carpet looking antisplash holds maybe 50 lbs of mud. With the slick the mud slids off easy.

He has a point there, the early "MH"'s had the astro- turf style on them too.

We used to haul horses and when we left Belmont Park I swear we'd bring half the mud home from the stable area!!

Those were made to fit that spot for Mack I tried to get another set and was told they are Unobtainium, guess they got sold out a few years after they stopped making the Superliners, I have some ribbed soft nylon flaps about 3/8" think Im going to try to get in there, you have to set the old ones on the new one and trace it out they are shorter,narrower and have the cut off edge on top to clear the hood.
