this problem has just started, any help would I would be very grateful I have a 2000 ch613 with a 427 and at start up it shows 30 psi and with out moving the truck when you rev up the engine the oil pressure drops down to zero and it almost act's like a rheostat losing a little and then more the more you push down on pedal till about 1400 rpm and hits zero? just thinking maybe sending unit but cannot see one.

BEFORE YOU KEEP RUNNING THE ENGINE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GOOD OIL PRESSURE!

hopefully just a faulty sending unit or gauge. tap into an oil passage with a mechanical gauge and see if it indeed is low psi or just a bad dash gauge.

start there and then come back to us....
