Hello,

We are driving a 1971 Mack Fire Truck Cross Country Supporting American Made Products and America's Jobs.

I need to replace some fuel lines and do not know where to get the unique fittings that are found on some of the fuel lines. One end has a typical compression fitting and the other end has a fitting that fits over a male fitting that looks a bit like a tire valve stem.

Can anybody please help me find these so I can make some new hoses? aaronlorell@gmail.com or 619-252-0347

Thank you!

Without getting the info based on your truck's serial number and running it, don't know for sure.

Buuut......in 1971, it should be a Mack rear axle and gear.

There should be a tag or numbers stamped into the housing to say what is in there now and what ratio it has.

Take some pictures of this rig and get the serial number and post it here so we can see what you are working on.

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.
