If anyone needs to replace the battery in their rig NAPA has the size 31, and other heavy duty batteries, on sale. I paid $85.00 for a battery with a core returned today, about $50.00 cheaper than I could find it elsewhere.

Normally I wouldn't put a battery in the truck this time of year when I never run it, but it was 72 degrees here today, (after not getting above 20 last Friday) so I wanted to pull it out to wash it. I knew the battery was weak, but it was totally dead when I went to start it, so I decided now is the time. Finding it on sale was sweet!

Money, sex, and fire; everybody thinks everyone else is getting more than they are!

Anyone know who makes NAPA's batteries???

I believe they are made by DEKA. Seen the truck at the local NAPA all the time

Hmmm, may have to get one or two

I paid $70 a piece (with core,on sale) for 900CCA group 31's at a local Intertrashonal dealer last spring. The best battery value I think I ever got though, was the 2 group 31 blems I bought 14 years ago from Interstate, for my first B model. These 2 batteries are still in the B C R today! They told me they were warranty returns that they recharge and test, then sell with no warrany.I paid 30 bucks a piece for those. They are now up to 60 for their blems.Put 2 more in the KW, 2 years ago.So far,so good.

IF YOU BOUGHT IT, A TRUCK BROUGHT IT..AND WHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH IT, A TRUCK WILL HAUL IT AWAY!!! Big John Trimble,WRVA

I put two Deka's in the FWD back in 2002 and they are still going good today- although lately in the cold weather whenever I go to fire her up once every 2-3 weeks they do kinda drag a little, but then she lights off......I guess I can't complain for batteries 11+ years old......If NAPA is having a sale mebbe I should do a pre-emptive strike.......hmmmmmm.......
