A good parts counter person at a Mack dealer can look at the inframe kits for the 300, 350, and 400. Look for different part numbers on items like pistons. With the VIN on trucks with the three different engines you can check the injectors, cam and turbo. Only other difference is pump settings.

With a mechanical E7 350, the fuel system flows plenty for about 450hp you just have to get the pump set up and advance the timing a few degrees. I know a lot of people change parts looking for power but with a mechanical engine you can make plenty with what you have already, and its cheaper than swapping parts. If you really want to swap parts get with a trim diesel or another good diesel shop and get the pump set, timing advanced and some aftermarket injectors and turbo and you can make over 500 to the wheels pretty easy with an E7.

Damn phone, Antrim Diesel, not trim diesel, they have a website and can do whatever from pump tuning to full on race truck. Did anyone notice the Dyno days there are pretty much owned by the Cat's, last year one Mack made almost 1000rwhp, Ill bet it was an E9!
