Rl700l wouldn't that be an aluminum frame truck? Looks like a nice one, I paid more for my truck it'd probably worth it they're getting scarce hopefully someone will get it back on the road before it goes too far or gets scrapped.

That's one thing that scares me about this truck,it is aluminum frame and has been stretched.

I don't think it'll get scrapped anytime soon!

IF YOU BOUGHT IT, A TRUCK BROUGHT IT..AND WHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH IT, A TRUCK WILL HAUL IT AWAY!!! Big John Trimble,WRVA

Are those two R-700s the same truck? Sleepers are different.

No,two different trucks owned by the same guy, thats why they look so similar, the blue one has a Pete sleeper on it,the purple truck, pretty much the same specs. Cat,13 speed, etc. but it has a Double Eagle sleeper on it. It originally had a 36" Rest-Rite on it the first time i saw it..............................................Mark

Thats what I thought, thanks for the reply.

I think I like the single bunk better!

I kinda do too! thats how it was when i first saw the truck, this is my favorite truck of all time! sadly,it was wrecked and parted out a long time ago,if i'm ever able,i'd like to find a Western-R and do it up to be be this ones twin. This particular truck is what lead me to BMT in the first place....................................Mark

It would be nice to do one up like that, with the small bunk.

I bought a 72 R 600 around 81 that a guy had painted just like that same colors but stripes on the fenders where a little differant, the guy had a western grille and bumper on it, 36" Double Eagle sleeper, alum. budds front, dayton rears, dual straight pipes. that is my favorite colors. then around 85 i had a dumb ass attact and painted it blue & gray that looked the same. then i bought new Superliner interior, it look good but wish i would have bought the red interior, left it the same colors. still have the truck.

I still have the truck, i use it once in a while.

Pure speculation till I see pics!
