I just LOVE driving this SuperLiner!

On this note,

Last time I was in Germany I saw a tractor truck near the road with a bike fixed behind the back of it's cab.

Doesn't anybody have an experience of this practic or know about it?

Bikes are good also but I damn like Leversole's B!

It looks well tight built.

I agree Vlad, that's one of the straightest, sharpest looking B models i've ever seen. It's probably jealous of that fancy gussied up Superliner with the bright red paint.

:SMOKIE-LFT: I'm seriously considering buying a fifthwheel enclosed car hauler with a small living quarters in front just for that reason.

That is what I want to do...buy a pup trailer, put living quarters over the fifth wheel, and haul a tractor, bike, etc. in the back. I know of two (2) pups in Arizona that are for sale. :whistling:

Hi Vlad

it is common to see former Class 8 trucks in N America which are converted to RV/Motorhome haulers and modified to carry a motorcycle, golfcart or smartcar behind the cab.. there are kits available to lift and mount a Harley behind the cab of any conventional, just got to make sure the trailer misses... who am I kidding, with the wheelbases over here you can fit a whole pickup truck in that gap.... :whistling:

Does the diesel cost $4.4 per gallon in the States? It's about $1 per litre overhere now and local folks say fuel is right for free in the US!

I saw interesting rebuilts of buses with a living room and a "garage" backside.

Saw that average truck in Germany, probably someone bobtailed with a bike on it.

Thinking over this idea also for R-model as a hobby vehicle.

I can't run into most big cities so would like to have a bike with me if I go long way trip around the country I plan for some day..

isn't a liter just over a quart? that would come out to around the same price then...pretty close I guess. I was thinking of driving to Moscow to fuel up next time, but since it's so close going that far out of route probably wouldn't be worthwhile.

That's awesome I plan to be doing a bit of sight seeing with
my Superliner soon. Have to toss a coin this summer Take the Mack
Superliner or the Harley Superglide out for my sunday mornig ride.

Please, take the Superliner out instead of the bike; it is much safer. Being a funeral director, i have had to put too many bodies back together from bike crashes.

I gotta agree, if that was my new toy sitting in the driveway................I'd be wear'n it out too. Jeez, all my toys have been around for 15-20 yrs. Guess I need to find something new to buy to get me excited??

I used to drive my B everywhere, 10 yrs ago. It's kinda lost it's appeal and it more work then worth sometimes.

Hi Vlad...

http://www.advancedtechnologiesint.com/e-power-lift---18-wheeler-version.html

more info in their photo gallery..

is this what you saw behind cab of semi truck??

second photo looks like a good idea if you have sufficient wheelbase, easy to load/unload

probably many more manufacturers out there, I've also seen versions that hook sideways at rear of chassis, as long as you have trailer clearance...

BC Mack, that device is great!

It's what I'm thinking about.

Although a line of questions came on a surface - how to order and recieve it, when and where to drive truck/bike, and how fast I might restore up my R-model?

So slowly going down as usual

Tom, a can of ATF oil tells me it conteins 0.946L. Diesel costs about $1.08 now so you should not drive here tanking, to enjoy sightseeing by a trip only.

I can try to send a bottle of via post to you although it might get the same troubles as about the sauce :pat:
