My museum is the proud owner of the 1923 Mack seen in the movies "Live and Let Die" and "Pretty in Pink". It had over 1,000,000 miles on it when it was featured in a Mack ad in 1964 (see photo 3). Although retired from the oyster business, it was operational until 2005 when Hurricane Katrina kept it under 8-12 feet of water for about a month. We joined this site hoping to learn of a reputable company that would do a bottom to top rebuild, or possibly a truck club that might want to take it on as a project. If we could refurbish it we would like to drive it in 20-30 parades a year, including Mardi Gras. We are open to all suggestions and comments. Thanks for looking/reading.
