There was a good article in Double Clutch a few years ago. Gap and another guy Gene(?) own about 5 of them. The one on the trailer has a few problems, but is still a very neat truck. Autocars were built just south of where I live and Macks are built 18 miles north. Here are my two Autocars. I might have posted them before.This is a 1960 DC75T with a 250 Cummins with a Jake and a 5 and a 2. It was built in Exton, PAhttp://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/gallery/image/13170-1960-autocar-dc75t/This is a 1950 C90D. It has a 501 Blue Streak gas and a 5 and a 2. It has a hydraulic lift tag axle. The drive axle is 8' 6" wide so it would have needed a permit every time is went on the road until the width law changed. yarnall Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 I bought the C90 in July of 2008. Bud Temple, who had owned Frame's, still had the 1950 C65. I tried to buy that too, but his son wanted to keep it. I don't think his son was very happy that he sold this one. The C90 is the nice truck anyway and it is more unique.
