I am glad to live in an area with so much trucking history. Autocars were built just south of where I live and Macks are built 18 miles north. Here are my two Autocars. I might have posted them before.

This is a 1960 DC75T with a 250 Cummins with a Jake and a 5 and a 2. It was built in Exton, PA

This is a 1950 C90D. It has a 501 Blue Streak gas and a 5 and a 2. It has a hydraulic lift tag axle. The drive axle is 8' 6" wide so it would have needed a permit every time is went on the road until the width law changed. It was built in Ardmore, PA before White bought Autocar in 1953 and moved the plant to Exton.

Mike"

I remember seeing the '50 A-Car at G.L.Sayre IH in the early '90s. Was it still owned by Frame's at that time?

I bought the C90 in July of 2008. Bud Temple, who had owned Frame's, still had the 1950 C65. I tried to buy that too, but his son wanted to keep it. I don't think his son was very happy that he sold this one. The C90 is the nice truck anyway and it is more unique. It is my favorite truck in my collection. Mike

Here is another stainless Autocar. I think there were about a dozen made. There was a good article in Double Clutch a few years ago. Gap and another guy Gene(?) own about 5 of them. The one on the trailer has a few problems, but is still a very neat truck. Some of you may not like the Pete hauler, but it is a nice, original truck. Mike

I too, remember the LoBiondo Petes, they must have been to the moon and back! That one still has the old Bridgeton address on the door. They are in Rosenhayn now.
