Palazzi sure had a hell of a cross section of different brands. anyone notice that early 70's ford? looks like a F600 . looks like it has a budd to Dayton conversion rim on the front? about the 10th pic down.

Isn't it a driving axle?

Truck 35 looks to be a 4WD. I notice truck 102, a Ford LTS is yellow early on, then is painted green later.

LTS 9000- looking good- did not get that far yet to see it in green colors. How about the twin engine Euc pan with THREE D-9's pushing! Wonder how long it took to fill that puppy!

Thx Jim for the Link.

Looks to me like some Dick Kemp photos in there as well. Some on the big dozers and one on the later model D4H. He told me about when they were doing 91 in VT they used to push the pans cutting the soft VT ledge...um that's without blasting it first!! I bet that would make the hair on the back of your neck stand up!

The guys that work at the land fill eat their lunch and push the pellets and garbage no problem. I guess you get used to anything! Here is a picture of Sonny Sloans Superliner V8 twelve speed that was once Pizzagalli's and survived being in a flood in their yard in Montgomery, Vermont. I believe it was a low bed tractor to begin with100_1912.JPG

Wow I have not seen that superliner in years but knew it immediately! It was Pizzagalli construction's driven by a guy named Sandy, I changed some tires on it when I worked at Reilly tire in South Burlington.

Sonny Sloan still has it and runs it on occasion.
