1977 International Loadstar 1600

JT, I saw that on CL awhile back, almost called about it - would've put a flat-bed body on it. At 45K miles, $1K in that condition you can't go wrong, really. Since it was a farm truck, looks like it had no salt exposure. Hope it works out for you.

Yes, that’s him. Thanks for that. I didn’t realize he was so young. I think he suffered a stroke. I think he was a cattle hauler but every time you turn around, it was buying another truck antique and parts. From what I remember, he had a lot of trucks and a lot of parts.

I met and talked with Mike at the ATHS Des Moines  2016-17(???) show.. He had had a stroke and was recovering OK.. posted later he got his CDL back. Then he got sick again, I think it was cancer that finally got him??????? He had a lot of stuff!!! Heard about 150 Macks of some description parked in the Cow Pasture behind his farm. His son, Mikey, was on here for a while after Mike Passed, But have not heard from him lately..

I 've to Mike's place a few times before he died. Very generous man and very knowledgeable on most any Mack. He had more than one place he stored vehicles.  Other end of the state from me, but yes he had a lot stored outside.

I think he was a few years younger than I, and I was sad to learn he was sick, and later passed.

Somebody asked me if he could store a water truck here I told him yes that was fine. I had plenty of room, but I don’t remember who that was. it might’ve been him…. Bob

I think Rob bought a water truck out that way somewhere. It was a tan colored R model. He lives in Illinois, I don't know what ever happened to him or the truck. He used to be on here all the time, then he just disappeared for a year or 3, then was back for a while, then disappeared again.
