Hey Guys,

So anymore when i have been using my 97RD which is a single axle with a 300+ Horse Mack motor backed by a 5 speed, it is struggling pulling the loads im putting on her, mainly the crane counter weights which are pretty heavy, it pulls my dry van trailer with 40 thousand pounds of material fine all day long. I heard that you can turn this motor up for more power? Anybody ever do it to this motor if so think it is worth doing it? The truck is tagged at 68,000 pounds so she is legal to do so.

Thanks

Tom

What style fuel pump you have, Robert bosh or American, the Robert is probably the one and easy to turn up. If you are stock now this will give you a lot more.
