PeterMack Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 I guess this could count as an excavator although it is not a backhoe, I took this picture of a replica of the Silver Spade front shovel at the National Toy Truck and Const.show in Indy. We (Carafa Builders) had one in North Haven except it was a back hoe They had big tubular sticks. The "6" I believe was the smallest Michigan and did not have an engine in the "house"-it was powered by the prime mover-ours was a Waukesha or Continental gas job- 5 speed with a two speed aux. 12 x 20 military type rubber.
