my pc160 goes just shy of 20 ton. thumb and quick coupler and bucket. but it does love its fuel. you could move it on a 3 axle tag , depends on the state. I always moved this on a 20 ton eager beaver tag till 2 years ago.

I move my 160 on a 3 axle tag. It's very light, about 16-17 tons. Very nice machine, mine is a full time grading machine. Has a 5' grading bucket on a swivel attachment.

Going back 20 plus years Milford Conn a commuter train hit a Akerman on a low bed stuck . 30 years ago i was working for a company we had driver with A frame trailer get hung up on RT7 in Norwalk Conn . the driver ran down the track to stop the train but the engineer wave back and several min later they hit at full speed nothing survived train truck trailer wall panels .We also had driver with bulk trailer pulled out to close his dome cover at Howes cavern NY he jump off the top trailer and watch the truck & trailer get destroyed .

Got to love those days! At least your not hung up on the train tracks :)

your not kidding. Then again I just lock the rears in and give it hell. Only time I get creative is if it is a huge hump. I call the number find out where the train is and how long I got. Raise front and rear of trailer. Procede with caution

Yea it's just getting the cab done for now. Will be a blue metallic like his Pete. He has a stainless visor for her too and going to put new windshields in her. That was the second time I drove that Granite and I like it. The first time I couldn't get comfortable in it. Now I figured out how to drive her it's not bad.
