Not all but many of those FWD trucks look cool on my mind.

If the memory serves me good there were some FWD's used in Russian army during WW1.

The Black/White FWD Conventional "Easy Rider" earlier in this post was my dad's!  350 Cummins, 13-speed, w/ hendrickson suspension.  Purchased new in 1971-72 From Bergey's in Franconia, PA and sold in 1980 back to Bergeys.  When bold, Bergey's converted it to a wrecker where it lived out the 80s and into the early 90s in road service for Bergeys.

57 BCR. I remember those green and yellow FWD McHenry mixers. I imagine they are out of business by now.

Sorry James. Missed your question by only a couple of years! McHenry Ready-Mix (later Enterprise Ready Mix) was gobbled up by MEYER in 1988. Some of the trucks still wore the green/yellow dress for a few years after the buyout. Al

Would that be classified as a 3 story Falcon??

nope................................. 4 story!!  😆

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

Makes you wonder-at least I do-how did they ever make any money?  They could not have had significant volume?  Sure economy in buying an existing cab but just to engineer it to work with their chassis?

Then again when they were building these "kit trucks"  the federal regs they had t deal with were Im sure a fraction of what they are today.

I sthat a Silver 92 emblem I see on the twin steer? Wouldn't that be an obnoxious beast driving through town now!!! I love it!

Some of those mixers have low rears and lots of gears, with a Detroit you could really shift fast when you're empty going downhill!
