ch613 wont start without either, problem---constant duty solenoid in the fuse box is going bad, it isnt carrying enough amperage to carry ecm and fuel shutoff, the engine will crank, it has fuel, just wont start. a test light wont work to test for it either because the volts are there just not the amps. it makes it hard to start and makes it seem like the fuel is bleeding off or losing prime. many people have been tricked by dealers and ripoff mechanics changing injector pumps, ground relays, ecms, vmack modules, batteries, terminals, cables wire harnesses, sensors, shut offs, fuel lines, spending thousands and getting a bad taste in their mouths for macks, and im sick of it.

if the truck is hard to start or dies for no reason and wont start, simply jump across the fuse box mounted solenoids large terminals with a pair of pliers or jumper cables. another indicator is the heater fan wont run, and the dash is all crazy and volt gauge shows below green with key on. you must replace the solenoid with a 100 percent constant duty soleniod, many continuous duty are only 50 to 60 minute duty cycles and the truck will die after an hour and wont start till it cools off. for best results replace with a factory part or one that is truly continuous.

Keep the good information coming cause we need some one that knows all of that stuff. Did you learn this by working on trucks of your own or maybe thru a dealer. Maybe your what the dealers need to hire.where do you work?
