It was opened a few years ago.Yeah they had problems with acid rock or something for a while I think that postponed the project for a while but they finally got it done. Yeah, there's a lot of steep ones across there!Chestnut Ridge is on rt40 in uniontown and Cresson mountain on rt22 is pretty long and steep.. I can't remember the grade or which one is steeper! Green Dash Posted June 16, 2013 Share Posted June 16, 2013 The GPS programmers need to include the phrase "You can't get there from here" into when asked for directions between certain locations in PA. That's a common phrase around here.I had 5 skids of fireworks on a load home from Harrisburg last week and had to run 322 & 22 because I was placarded for Explosives which are forbidden in the Turnpike tunnels. I would consider that a "beginners" route compared to some of the other roads over the mountains but the 25 miles or so it adds to the run takes an additional 45-50 minutes.
