Perhaps I can solict "sponsors" at the show. I will have a donation bucket for those who want to contribute. Contribute to what I don't know but I will decide after I get the funds. Popular Post farmer52 Posted June 14, 2013 Author Popular Post Share Posted June 14, 2013 My maiden voyage to Macungie...The trailer makes a completely different driving experience with the MH - for the good. No more "slap" in the back, no more shift lever spasms or jumping out-of-gear, and no more "skipping" sideways when hitting a bump. I could still feel the bumps, 1st one front axle, 2nd one rear axle, then nothing. I tried to watch the trailer and it never bounced nor could I feel any bumps or even know the trailer was back there. Of course the engine worked a little harder to pull the extra load but other than that it runs and pulls great. I was able to run 65-70 mph when the pavement was dry. My only concern is stopping suddenly on wet pavement but I hope I never have to find out. I checked my trailer "cargo" (a plastic storage chest) and it hardly moved. It is different than pulling a trailer with a pickup or SUV...you can feel every move of the trailer.Unless I drive less then 20 miles, I am NEVER going to bobtail again. 4 Quote Ken PRR Country and Charter member of the "Mack Pack" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
