I thought I wouldn't have any pictures this week, but I ended up with some pretty good ones. I even saw something Vinny might like in the Auction Time magazine-

Saw some log and pulpwood trucks in West Virginia and Virginia.

Saw a dump truck too.

I'm gonna park beside it at the Go Mart.

now we got a small parade going.

Don't know what happened here. This is on I-79 in W.V.

Saw this pickup on I-80 in Pa. Couldn't tell what he had in the back at first...

Saw Green Dash again- he thinks he's sneaking up on me because he's in a straight truck.

When he realized I was onto him he passed me.

Saw this woman in a car at the fuel stop. She asked me if I would fill her windshield washer fluid tank up for her because she didn't know how. She said she'd make it worth my while. I told her i'd do it for free if I had time,but I really didn't have time to fool with it.

First thing that caught my eye- "a few oil leaks"!

I used to stop and take a shower there and get a bite to eat sometimes when it was John Skidmore's Truckstop, never even been in it since they changed, I just go to the Go Mart.

Now ya see thats the differnce between you and me. I would have had to fill her fluid tank, because, if I didn't, I would be thinking of her all day, yah know, worrying if she got taken care of properly. She didn't even have a seat belt on,just needed someone to take care of her. But hey, thats just me.

With all the leaks, it's hard to tell it was painted green once.....

My weekends always go well if it starts with an update from Gladys including photo essays of scenery that changes with temperature, quality man on the scene interviews, traffic reports and the never ending escapades of the wild wimmin of Winfall.

Funny you say J. I was thinking the same thing. Up to the minute weather reports from the OD weather station has helped me get into work on time. But the blondes has kept me interested in my work all day long.

Here's some Winfall wimmin'. I think I know what's going on here- the girls are going to Winfall Beach with their dogs. They were not paying attention to the traffic, and as the first dog started to cross the road it saw a truck coming, panicked, slammed on the brakes, and froze. Dog number 2 saw the situation and grabbed dog number 1 and tried to pull it back to safety, but he was rear-ended by the girls who were not paying attention and also following too close...I had plenty of time to stop, and no dogs or girls were harmed in this poorly photo chopped image.

Never been up to Winfall,but i delivered to a big furniture store this week,and had a nice lady try and sell me a $25,000 rug,i said "its nice and all,but my wife prolly won't like it" she gave me a funny look,and said what a shame! so i was just on about my bidness after that,she seemed kinda dissappointed.....................................Mark

Wonder what's up with the cabbage plant in the middle?..planted at the same time in the same dirt.

Potatoes all look pretty good so far-

A tomato, cayenne peppers, and garlic in the tires and wheels this year. The tires and wheels came off of a big Mack truck, I like to keep my posts truck related.

Lots of peaches this year too, but I won't get any. They either rot and fall off the tree before they're ripe or the squirrels will get them before I do.

Last week's paper said it was time for the 17 year locusts this year- I got holes like this all over the place.

Gave away a set of encyclopedias yesterday. Saw this pretty neat picture in "Trucks and Trucking". I thumbed through all of them just in case i'd hidden a $20 bill between the pages...I hadn't.

Other dog commandeered my chair, and he never does that!

It's OK, i'll be in the 'puter chair.

Most people go to the pool to swim

What happened on I-79 is that the truck fell on it's side. The black round things go on the bottom. Driver was prolly checking his gps for the nearest 11'6" clearance he could drive under instead of watching the road.

That was me that passed you. I'm still looking for the Ohio Turnpike but got tired of dragging the 53'er around, so I got the dingy out to go ingestvigating.
