I picked up a used take out rear end for my RD today at a salvage yard a couple hours away. This was the first thing I noticed when I pulled up, (naturally!) It's an old Barnhart Crane and Rigging truck from Memphis. It had been sitting for 6 months, but it fired right up, built air in about 5 minutes, and I drove a loop around the yard in it. It was my first time driving anything other than a two stick six speed, but I think I've about got it whooped! Talk about being like a kid in a candy store! I'm gonna do my best to buy it. I know I'll never find another one like it and that close to home. It even has a DOT inspection and IFTA sticker from 2010. There was also a DC? Autocar there that came from the same place. 8v71, 5x4, and very heavy specs. I'll post some pics tonight when I get home. I don't want to make Ken mad by posting sideways pics!

Mike, I don't think so either. Paul, I'm gonna try to make a deal on the Mack. I really like the Acar but I'm running out of room at my dirt pit to store old trucks! He said he doesn't think he has a title on the Autocar. Not sure though. They both came from the same place.
