Greetings from Alaska! This is one of 80 or so large photos displayed in our museum. It is an Alaska Road Commission Truck photographed in 1919. Can someone confirm that this is a Mack? Many thanks.

We only have two trucks on display, this 1918 Duplex and a 1919 Studebaker wrecker (shown being filmed for an Ice Road Truckers web clip). We also have a 1915 Mack flatbed truck, but it is not on display yet. We have about 65 of our 85 vehicles on display, many of which are the only known survivors of their type (1906 Compound, 1920 Argonne) or the only one made (1898 Hay, 1921 Heine-Velox Victoria). It really is a first-rate museum, made cooler by the fact that most of the vehicles get driven each summer. Our manager used to own Northern Truck Center in Fairbanks, which handled the Mack and Peterbilt Lines. He's a hoot and I hope y'all can meet him and see the museum some day!
