What does RM have to do with it?All RMs have steel nose and yes if its short steel nosed its most likely a RD but all RD800s have steel but those have long noses. Back in the '70s all R-models with plows had steel noses, then in the '80s they came out with the butterfly fiberglass. I think I got most of em theres still the RS and then the RWS and RWL etc........
