Burb Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 hey everyone I drive a 2010 Mack CHU tractor and when the mechanics put in the switches for the tarp and the door for my flowboy trailer they did not make them illuminated which is a real ball buster at night and also the switch for the door is a mack switch blue LED and would like for it to be lighted also and when the door is open that the switch indicator light on the rocker be lit when activated does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this its a 8 or 6 prong switch Quote Link to comment https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/topic/31308-mack-chu-help/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
rsb502 Posted May 27, 2013 Share Posted May 27, 2013 Play with a meter and +12v for a while to figure out the input/outputs. I just look behind the dash and find the two wires common to most of the factory lighted switches ones +12 v the other is ground. I'm guessing a ground is all you need and it will light up when on.
