Mine. A 1988 Marmon 57P. My uncle bought it new. Last used it last year when we went to the Marmon Gathering in Denton Texas... Taking it to Macungie than Datton Ohio. Paul

There is one in Round Rock Texas I've been trying to get for 3 years or so. 1980 day cab with Cummins NTC 350. It's a heavy spec chassis for oil patch work. ...."Gonna fix it up one day but call me every so often"

They were built to your specs when ordered and mostly hand assembled like the Pacific's were. assembly and quality of the cab, chasss, interior and paint was better than an assemble line unit, BUT the entire drive train is no different than any other unit. You get what you pat for and how you take care of it. Paul

This truck was at Louisville at least 20 to 25 years ago and they had these pictures of it with the

specs on the back. I know there was a Kenworth areodyne with a huge bunk decked out the same

way but I don't know what ever happened to these trucks. I have not seen them since.

In the mid 70's they had no specific company livery. The Marmons were two-tone blue (the V12), maroon and grey, and 2 were brown and tan and had the same stripes with the colors reversed. The only other trucks I recall were a red and white KW, a two-tone green Pete, and a blue R model daycab.

They were on the west side of 17, just north of the truck stop.
