The fill plug in my 12 speed has always been a pain to get out even when I made sure not to over tighten it,well now it's totally seized and all screwed up from trying to get it out,any ideas,I'm thinking maybe bang a socket on and weld it to keep it from slipping?

I had one on a T2090 that was always tough, even when I put never seize on it,Found out if I loosened it when the transmission was still hot,it would spin right out.

Now that makes sense, the aluminum housing probly expands more than the steel plug when hot,if I could find something that will grab it,might give that a shot, thanks for the idea..
