most B30's had juice brakes so they didn't have an air compressor and 99% of everyone I have seen had a small oil bath air cleaner on top of the carb similar to an old Ford truck. I have seen a few with air compressors but they were belt driven and mounted to the top of the head as the 331 didn't have an opening in the backside of the timin case like the 401's did. they also didn't have the external air cleaner and the tube thru the firewall like most B models did. I have seen someone put a 401 in a B20 with juice brake. they simly took the air compressor off, removed the drive pulley and replaced the air compressor so the oil would run thru it.

should mount right to the side of the block, its a generic lever driven AC pump driven off the camshaft. here is a picture with the belt driven air compressor and the bracket that bolts across the head. also shows what the air cleaner should be like.

that block off plate is where the original fuel pump would have been mounted to with the sediment bowl. I assume someone probably added an electric fuel pump on it and took off the cam driven one. the original fuel line would have ran up the left hand side of the frame, to the fuel pump, then stuck up beind the water pump, curved around and bolted to the right side of the head under one of those 3/8's bolts then curved into the carb. the one in the pic I showed is cobbed and not original.
