You will spend every single second of your free time reading through your news feed and responding to comments and messages. People will message you because they know you're on there and you will have to reply or else they will be mad at you for ignoring them.Number 4. You will "get connected" will people you do not need to be connected with. Irresistably attractive-appearing girls (I said attractive appearing, not neccessarly attractive) will send you friend requests. Then some guy with an awesome truck in his profile picture will send you a friend request. Then the worst is your old Uncle Bill will send you a friend request like 7 times because he keeps forgetting his password.Number 3: People will constantly hate on you for what you post. If you don't ever post anything, people will hate on you for not posting anything.Number 2: People will blame every single thing you ever do wrong on the fact that you have a facebook. If you don't weed wack the yard, it's because you were on facebook. If you don't clean your room, it's because you were on facebook. If you don't put water in the ice tray in the freezer, it's because you were on facebook. For crying out loud, if you don't put a new roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, its because you were on facebook.And the absolute number one reason you should never, EVER get a facebook account:You will see things that you will wish you never saw:This rant is now over...... Posted August 4, 2013 Share Posted August 4, 2013 It's not just the wimmins, there's a lot of truck and trucking related pages on facebook, I post a lot of truck pictures there too, on "Truck Nuts", "In the Weeds", and several more. I like "F-Model Macks" and "Cabover Enthusiasts" among others. I also started my own group called "FWD Fire Apparatus and Trucks." We have a little over 200 members- the list is long and distinguished like my johns........never mind Also many antique firetruck pages on there too. Tons of fine people that go out of their ways to help one another find that elusive part or vendor. Yes facebook can and is a pain in the ass and I know why many folk of the older generation have a particular disliking and contempt for it. However there are also many fine groups and people that you meet on FB that make it a worthwhile experience.
