Thanks

I thought I remember seeing it a Syracuse, but have not seen it a Cortland for the last few years I have been there.

Are you going to bring it down to Cortland next month??? I am sure it will create a big discussion as some of the old factory people are around.

Brocky

Dave Himmelright said the huskie stands there ready to pull while the bulldog is standing up looking around for he next pull. My dad had his B422 on a small lowboy that he had been pulling with his B66. The Brockway guys loved it when he showed up pulling it with his 758. A Brockway pulling a Mack was the way they thought it should be. Mike

Remember the huskies is always on top

Unfortunately in the end it wound up the other way around! Mack gave it to the Huskie good and hard with no lube!

I know it wasn't the Bull Dog's fault he was just doin what his master told him to do

Some great pictures as always Rich! thanks for posting for those of us that couldn't be there. I REALLY like that oldschool brown, gold and white 361 with the small sleeper on the second page,my kinda' truck! only thing I would do is put the original headlights back in the fenders, they look "odd" to me with newer quad headlights................................Mark

Please do post it..! That is cool.! Shorty and I had tentative plans to make the trip up there, then it dawned on me that since I was running for a County Commissioner's seat (I did win)and the election was on the 7th, I just could not leave town.

Hopefully you and Shorty can be there next year. Would be nice to reunite him with his truck. I couldn't find my pic. photo by Jeremy George

I use to run a black " 361 Brock back in "85-86" It had a 1974 Cat in it turned up all to hell, straight chrome 6" stacks, chrome bumper, grille shell, Farr air cleaner, I loved that truck, had a 5+4 double over in it ! Wish I had it now! My dad had a 48 Brockway with a 48B Continental gas job in it, it had a 5+3 in it, and my uncle put a Browning behind those, couldn't run it out of gears going down hill! Lol, My uncle drove that, and my dad drove his "51" DC100 A-Car, it had a straight 200 Cummins, and a triplex, was painted Apache red and Sheridan blue, had Bimbo painted across the front bumper. Back in the "50's" Out of Revere,Ma. I remember when I was little, his other brother got a B75 Mack, I remember him pushing the air starter when we were driving buy a pasture, and making all the horses run! Lol

The Brockway is indeed a tough truck, two days of cleaning, three buffing compounds, and a finisher, just on the left side. My arms are going to give out before the Brockway.

Looks great! Your arms won't hurt until you stop.
