I have a t2060 in a 95 dm690 with a e7-300. My problem is when I use low 1st gear (it has a air splitter). If I use it the trans pulls a fit and pops out of any gear at any time while driving. I have to quickly push in the clutch and wait for the motor to unwind then release the clutch. this seems to happen at anytime. after a while if I don't use 1st low it wont pop out anymore. I have no experience with this trans. got the truck about a year ago abd this started probably 3 months ago. I havnt been using 1st low for a while but would have liked it a few times. please advise all help welcomed and thanked.

Air shift cylinder needs a rebuild.

This problem frequently shows up when the weather starts to get colder causing the "O" rings on the piston in the range shift cylinder to shrink and allow air to blow by.

It can be fixed while the trans. is in the truck, not a big deal, but I would suggest fixing it sooner rather than later, because damage can occur to the range shift if it continues to repeatedly jump out of gear.

I will try that. Thank you. Anybody know of a online place to search and get parts for trucks? I notice your from Appleton WI what a nice place. I was out there a little over a year ago at the Pierce factory. :SMOKIE-LFT:
