Popular Post jaysm35a2 Posted August 7, 2013 Popular Post Share Posted August 7, 2013 Sometimes it pays to get lost looking for a trailer im suppose to pick up.Passed a junk yard and spotter the H roof over the fence. The body is in great shape. The tag axle was bolted on , I don't see any junky welds that hurt it from taking that off and making it original. He asked why in the hell would I want that old thing , and he said he wanted to cut it up for scrap. He "cant sell it as a truck" , but , it could be bought as a truck as I walked away his mind changed. The other earlier H model I found in Denver's cab is pretty bad. Freightrain Posted August 7, 2013 Share Posted August 7, 2013 I wondering if that tag was not factory built? I know of another H like that with the same type set up. You adjusted the arm to one of the two spots to adjust the amount of weight that was put on the tag. Bet it was a real bugger in the snow since you couldn't dump it off easliy.I'm guessing a lowboy truck with the ramps going up to the fifth wheel plate area.
