Ford N model

Found this gem today, actually I've known this truck a long time and lost track of it. I was told that it is 1969 with a 250 Cummins and a 10 speed road ranger. Truck is real straight for its age. Sitting there hooked to the old Heil dump, it was like stepping back in time.

Ford knew how to build a class 8 truck back then. Not sure what happened with the W series.

I like the N series, 61-66 are some of my favorite Ford trucks. Those were the real Super Duty Fords.

Yup, the H-1000 series is more commonly known as a "two story falcon" shared the Budd cab with its little brother the C-series.These things were the "shit" in the moving and storage industry back in the sixties,seems like damn near every other bedbugger out there had one! Heres a nice example from out Superdogs way....................Mark

I love how they just randomly filled in those wheel wells with a panel and a step ladder and raised the cab up.... never was a cabover fan or a major Ford fan but the original 61-67 or so Super Duty's were nice looking truck, especially the ones with the nice white headliner, dash panel and White steering wheel. the one we had was a 66 or so with a 477 gasser in in. my grandfather said would pass everything but a gas station and all the old Fords always smelled of gas fumes but were powerhouses.

Do you have "landscaper teal" registered?

It was a Ford color originally as my dad bought a 67 F100 in that color. Then when he bought the GMC 5500 it was GMC medium green. I have the oroiginal RM code so I will be going back to that color when I paint the International.
