Smfire History, You can also tell the difference between the truck your restoring and the older one in the "station" picture by the fenders......the newer one has wider fenders on both the front and rear.

That's an ENF-707A engine. Same as in the 1949 85LS I've been working with. Sweet but I didn't think they had the sack to pump that much water. Mine is rated 750GPM. The B-21 with the big Hall-Scott was 1250 GPM I believe but that is a monster of an engine...

Good to see it.

Does the truck have air brakes?

Does the L-125 mean something different than the pump size??

Yes on air brakes. Will have them gone through in the next few weeks to resolve a leak and solve an issue of them not disengaging right away.

I believe the 125 designator is related to the pump size as the sales literature is written that way. Front bumper is specified as "24QL 234Pl"

Thanks for the clarification and pics of the brochure. I had not seen the L125 brochure before and appreciate your posting it. The four discharges threw me off. MADOG93: not surprised. Mack was always conservative on ratings. We took a 1000 pump in a CF chassis, put on intake horns from a C-125 and pumped over 1800 gpm from a hydrant. Of course all pump ratings were at draft, not hydrant.

The filter is an encapsulated style that looks like a brake canister below the chassis. I'll look for a pic. A heavy equipment buddy says its a Luberfiner canister with a short 750. They're on order so we'll see if they fit once they arrive.
