That's what my 6 year old daughter wants to do,have to figure out a seatbelt next...

I went to O'Reilly's they have some DOT approved lap belts for $17 bucks, same here my wife said no kids until seat belts.

Just drill couple holes and install, I think it comes with everything to include instructions. When I redid the floor I used 1/4"' x 2 x 2 angle across the back of the cab for re enforcement and I just drilled my holes in to that. I have installed seat belts in other trucks and mounted either to the rear seat mounts or through the floor if you do that just make to use a large fender washer under the floor to stop any pull though, it is a 10 minute job even if you have to drill new holes.
