Yep A model sounds like a deal. there was a e model cab not far from me recently and they were asking 400. If it still has the seat frame inside it will likely still have the model/serial tag so you can know what truck it came from

He sold it Friday night. Really nice fellow, probably would help load too. lol. It is going on a pick up chassis for a guy doing a project with his kid. I will keep looking. For a double whammy I found out my engine is junk too. Big crack below the lifters, unrepairable. So now all I need is an engine and a cab. En377 or I think the 401 will fit too. Oh well. Thank you for the number

I am trying to figure out if the 401 is interchangeable with the 377. My fingers crossed maybe they used the same block and changed the bore or stroke a little. Have to call the Mack museum or something. Besides, there are a lot more of the B model gassers than the A models. Also starting to think about the Cummins 6bt. Would rather stay original, but want to drive the old girl.
