kscarbel Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 Given the obvious load capacity and weight distribution (road friendly) advantages of the 8x4 configuration (and the 10x4 configuration with a rear-mounted steerable tag axle, it's unbelievable that these configurations are not the norm in the US. j_martell Posted November 10, 2013 Share Posted November 10, 2013 Twin steer tandems are the norm around southern Ontario for mixers and slingers etc. a few dumps too, but mostly steering lift tandems now, thanks to the SPIF crap Quote Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....
