I have a R model that was originally a Fire truck that was built in the Mack factory. What does anyone know about front disc brakes that are hydraulic powered by air. It is a factory installed option that is a Kelsey hayes system. Are parts still available for this type of brake system.

Not sure about this specific set up, but the pig farmer I worked for had a small livestock trailer with air over hydraulic brakes. There was a master cylinder mounted above the landing gear with an air brake pot actuating it from glad hands on the 99 Mack c? Tractor that pulled it. Can't remember if it had spring brakes too.....Seemed to be a fairly simple set up. Surely someone with more knowledge than I will chime in....

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....
