The air horns are not Mack- probably Grover or Buell.

If the spotlights you are talking about are the swivel ones on the corners of the cab, the best thing that can happen to them is getting destroyed. And they are not Mack, I forget who makes them, possibly Grote???

The bumper extension brackets I have to believe that a good frame man could fabricate.

the spotlights didn't work anyway so like you said it might be best to take them off. I don't know of anyone around here that does frame or fab work anymore and for the life of me I cant remember what the air horn has cast on the back of it. I suffer from crs

Call ITE fire apparatus in Hagerstown, Md. They used to have a huge stock of CF parts as they used to be (dont know if they still are) well known for refurbishing CF chassis rigs. www,itefire.com

Joe, I checked all my sources on the bumper extensions and cannot find anything available to purchase. The part numbers are:

3QL4351 and 3QL4352 (or 3QL4332)

Best bet is to see if a BMT member happens to have some used parts sitting around.

the driver was responding to a brush fire (non emergency) and he got close to the shoulder and the road broke off and he went into the ditch. the truck came to rest next to a cliff and a rock sticking out caught the redlight and air horn on the passenger side it left a dent in the cab and in the front compartment (minor damage) when the towing company hooked to it and lifted it back in the road it bent the frame extensions (bumper brackets) on the front. the right side kingpin now has slack in it. I hope it has just busted the bearing. but in any case the truck is going to the local mack dealer to get the king pins replaced and is going to be checked from one end to the other just to be on the safe side. no one was hurt in the accident but the driver has told us he wont be driving the truck anymore and that he blames himself for the accident. but like we told him things happen all the time. he is a good driver and now he is scared to death of the trucks.

Hello,

My name is George and I have several, several good mack cf parts from pumpers and a recent bad scope purchase. I have sets of air horns, door spot lights,I have complete doors with Mack logo mirrors. I'll check on the bumper brackets. But shoot me a private email and maybe a pic of your damage. I even have nearly new all aluminium compartments from E-one that will fit your truck if needed. I might have ALL your parts needed for your repair.

Talk to you soon,

George

]I guess that the fact that he was scared of the truck and that he was not going fast (about 35 mph) and the good lord above is what kept him safe. I went and looked at the site of the accident and for the life of me I cant figure out how the side compartment got dented and scraped up I didn't see anything that could of done it. but I guess some things are ment to be unknown. but on the other hand we went and looked at a couple other trucks one will be for parts and the other is still in service. both are C Fs one is a 78 and the other is a 68.
