Tried a new brine recipe I saw in the paper last week- salt, brown sugar, and apple juice. I'm gonna put it on the smoker in a little bit. I think i'll smoke it for several hours then bring it in and finish cooking it in the oven. It's 19 degrees now. I will not smoke anything else till I get a green mountain smoker. Me and my last smoker did not see eye to eye. either to hot or to cold in the matter of a segment to next commercial.
