Not new to turning wrenches just new to Mack

After turning key on, I get "No Data" on screen as well as the lightning bolt

obviously, there is an electrical issue. Tried to pull the code with the cruise switch to no avail. Truck runs fine with no other issues.
Any ideas on where to look first...?

Is it a GU model ( I assume it is)? Here is the only Mack bulletin on the dash cluster but it wont help much. Id say either the cluster is bad or the data lines from the VECU to the cluster are bad. Check fuse to the dash cluster first.
